Whey protein

Whey protein is the most practical way to increase daily protein intake without complicating your diet. It does not “build muscle on its own,” but it helps you consistently reach your protein target, which is crucial for both muscle gain and preserving muscle during a cut. In the FitLab range you will most often see three forms: concentrate (WPC), isolate (WPI), and hydrolysate. WPC offers the best price-to-quality ratio and works for most people. WPI is “cleaner” (less lactose and carbs) and often the better choice if you are lactose sensitive or want a tighter macro profile. Hydrolysate digests faster but is usually more expensive and unnecessary for most recreational lifters.
